The FireCuda 520 was offering much better PostgreSQL database performance over the PCIe 4.0 MP600 drives, should you be using consumer SSDs for any database purposes.

The FireCuda 520 also offered much better performance for the MariaDB MySQL database server, such as if you are running a SOHO server or using consumer SSDs in your development box.

The FireCuda 520 also performed well in the IOR write test.

The IOR read test was another case of the FireCuda 520 performing slower than the other tested drives, similar to the FIO sequential read benchmark.
