The single-threaded GNU MPC multi-precision benchmark was another case where the Intel CPUs were flat-out running much faster than the tested Ryzen CPUs.

In the single-threaded Fhourstones test, the Coffeelake CPUs remained faster.

As we saw in the earlier Ryzen tests, Intel's superior IPC performance at this point also allowed it to run faster on the Coffeelake CPUs over Pinnacle Ridge.

While looking at the AOBench renderer, it's back to the races.

While LAME MP3 encoding is single-threaded, the Ryzen 7 2700X was able to tie with the Core i7 8700K.
