Raven Ridge With The Ryzen 5 2400G On Mesa 18.2 + Linux 4.17 Is Finally Stable
The Ryzen 5 2400G on the latest AMDGPU+Mesa stack could handle BioShock Infinite at 1080p with low quality settings with a 74 FPS average albeit a minimum FPS of 23. The 2400G was about 85% faster than the current-generation UHD Graphics 630 found on the Core i7 8700K or 42% faster than the socketed Broadwell CPU with Iris Pro graphics.
DiRT Rally at 1080p with ultra low quality settings is easily playable using the Ryzen 5 2400G and was 50% faster than the A10-7870K on AMDGPU + Mesa 18.2.
At medium quality settings, however, the Ryzen 5 2400G average frame-rate fell to around the 60 FPS threshold.
And high quality settings for this game wouldn't be recommended with Raven Ridge.
