Tesseract is at least one of the Linux OpenGL games where AMD is more competitive with NVIDIA: here the R9 Fury is performing around the speed of a GTX 980 and GTX 1060 while the RX 480 is running with a GTX 970.

The R9 Fury still has a good showing when running Tesseract at 4K.

The AMD Linux driver stack has one of its best showings with the Xonotic first-person shooter where the R9 Fury competes with a GeForce GTX 1070. Xonotic traditionally performs very well with AMD on Linux.
