And with comparing these Linux distributions anyways on the Razer Blade Stealth, some performance numbers for the different distributions out-of-the-box on this Core i5 7500U system. Tested were Ubuntu 17.04, Antergos 17.8, Fedora 26, openSUSE Tumbleweed, and Clear Linux.

With SQLite being used by many applications from web browsers / mail clients to other desktop applications, it's useful to see how well it performs on a laptop. Clear Linux was the fastest with its optimizations, but keep in mind it's using the performance governor by default on laptops and leads to greater power usage. openSUSE Tumbleweed was right behind Clear while Fedora was the slowest.

Antergos 17.8 and Clear Linux were the fastest in the OpenGL gaming tests.
