RADV Vulkan Driver Ends The Year On A High Note With A Performance Boost

Dota 2 is easily the biggest benefactor of the DCC improvements... The RX 580 goes from originally running at 50 FPS to now at 62 FPS, above the 60 FPS threshold and what's also interesting is that's faster than the RX Vega 64 performance pre-DCC Git work... The RX Vega 64 saw its performance go up by 12% and the R9 Fury by 11%. But as a sign of more work to do in 2018 for the open-source Radeon driver, the RX Vega 64 still isn't living up to its true potential as you can see from about the same performance as the R9 Fury.

Dawn of War 3 is also pushing higher with the latest RADV Mesa commits.

While F1 2017 was the lone Vulkan game tested where it didn't benefit from this patch work at all.
