With Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at both 1080p and 4K, the biggest boost in performance was going from Ubuntu 15.10 to Ubuntu 16.04 while still the move to Linux Git and the newest Mesa code yields another measurable increase in performance for this AMD graphics card. At 1080p, the performance nearly doubled when comparing the Ubuntu 15.04 performance to where it's at today.

Dota 2 with OpenGL also saw very significant performance improvements from Ubuntu 15.10 to 16.04 and then again looking at 16.04 to Git, with those Linux 4.8 and Mesa 12.1 changes coming in October for Ubuntu 16.10.
