Going back to Kepler and GCN 1.0 here is a look at Rise of the Tomb Raider on Linux, which is powered by Vulkan and recently ported over by Feral Interactive.

A high-end Kepler card still can get by running this latest Linux game port at 1080p, but obviously Maxwell and Pascal run much better. The RX 580 on the RADV driver here outperforms the GTX 1060 on the NVIDIA proprietary driver.

With very high quality settings at 1080p, the newer AMD and Radeon graphics cards are pretty much required on Linux.
