Newer Golang in openSUSE Leap 15.0 Beta also makes it run better than the older openSUSE Leap 42.3 packages.

OpenSUSE Leap 15.0 Beta did secure a first place finish with the Stockfish chess benchmark.

On this particular i9-7980XE Intel system, openSUSE Leap 15.0 Beta was booting faster than Leap 42.3, but not as fast as Ubuntu 18.04 with GNOME Shell or Clear Linux.

The kernel boot time with openSUSE Leap 15.0 Beta on Linux 4.12 is slower than with Leap 42.3's older 4.4 LTS kernel.
