When firing up a few different OpenGL tests, the Znver1 build was faster for the open-source Xonotic game while for GeeXLab the performance was a toss-up. With Xonotic the performance was up to about 8% faster but keep in mind this is a rather basic test compared to today's commercial games. As time allows I'll firing up more Steam tests, etc, with this just being an initial look with some benchmarking over Christmas.

The Znver1-optimized Golang packages didn't turn up much of a difference on this Threadripper 2950X system.

The Java performance appeared slower on the Znver1 build.

Carrying out some file compression tests using the operating system utilities were a mixed bag but overall seemed to deliver slight performance benefits.
