The OpenMandriva-supplied Blender did perform notably better on the Znver1 spin over their generic x86-64 image.

The Python performance also came out slightly ahead.

The Znver1 spin also booted slightly quicker than the generic 64-bit operating system.

When looking at the geometric mean for the few dozen tests carried out, the Znver1 spin on the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X system saw just about 2% better performance. But let's see how that compares to other Linux distributions.
