The random read performance of the TRION 150 was well behind the higher-end EVO 850 SSD, but ahead of the Intel 530/535 and SanDisk drives.

The random write performance measured by FIO put it in line with the SanDisk drive and the more expensive Samsung EVO 850. The Samsung 850 EVO retails for around $67 USD while the SanDisk SSD is around $45.

The Trion 150 pulled back when it came to sequential reads with the Flexible I/O Tester.

However, the Trion 150 came out in front when benchmarking the sequential writes with FIO.
