NVIDIA's Linux Driver On Ubuntu Is Very Competitive With Windows 8

The GeForce 9800GTX on Nouveau shows a very strong showing for the Unigine Engine games, but that's only because of mass rendering problems that were encountered. The 9800GTX Nouveau frame-rate was higher, but nothing was shown correctly. Meanwhile, between Windows and Linux with the binary blobs, the performance was comparable.

The Unigine Tropics performance results are similar to that of Unigine Sanctuary where the 9800GTX Nouveau performance explanation is due to faulty rendering and the NVIDIA Linux/Windows performance was similar.
