The Catalyst Linux driver had not functioned with any of the gluxMark 2.2 tests nor did the NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 handle these open-source OpenGL tests well, so we just have a brief look showing the fragment and vertex shader performance between the GeForce 9800GTX and GeForce GTX 460.

The gluxMark compute test looks largely at the GPGPU performance via OpenCL. To some surprise, the OpenCL performance on the GeForce 9800GTX was better than that of the GeForce GTX 460 by about 8% even with the GF104 boasting more computing cores and overall is a faster component.
