Beginning by looking at the video decoding performance when using VDPAU with MPlayer, regardless of the driver, for the most part the CPU load was near zero usage the entire time. Worth pointing out though is that there were three times during the video playback with the newest 190.16 beta driver that the CPU usage had spiked noticeably and this did not occur with the 180.51 or 185.18.14 drivers.

There was barely any change in performance when running Nexuiz with the proprietary graphics driver at 2560 x 1600 with High Dynamic Range.

There was a small boost in performance with Doom 3 using the 185.xx and 190.xx drivers.
