First up was Strange Brigade, which runs on Linux by means of Steam Play (Proton). Indeed the RTX 3060 Ti was immediately showing off with coming in at 9% faster than the RTX 2080 SUPER and a huge 55% lead over the RTX 2060 SUPER previous-generation card. The RTX 3060 Ti performance was ahead of the Radeon VII and the lead over the Radeon RX 5700 XT was about 34%. It will be interesting to see how the Radeon RX 6700 series ultimately competes with the RTX 3060 series.

On a performance-per-dollar basis, the RTX 3060 Ti was the easy winner over other AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards.

On a performance-per-Watt basis based on the real-time GPU power consumption during the test, the RTX 3060 Ti did lose out to the Radeon RX 6800 series but came out well ahead of the other GPUs tested.

HITMAN 2 runs on Linux via Steam Play and leverages DXVK for translating Direct3D calls to Vulkan. In this game again the RTX 3060 Ti came out ahead of the RTX 2080 SUPER while delivering significant uplift over the RTX 2060 / RTX 2060 SUPER.

At $399 USD, the RTX 3060 Ti is priced very well.
