While NVIDIA supports CUDA on the Jetson TX1, at least as of yet they don't seem to be supporting OpenCL on the JTX1. It's a shame considering the unified NVIDIA Linux driver already has OpenCL 1.2 support and it works fine, but at least for now we're limited to CUDA for GPGPU on the JTX1.

On this page are some CUDA performance reference numbers from the Tegra X1. I didn't have time to compare these CUDA numbers to the Tegra K1, but will in due time. Unfortunately without OpenCL, we can't compare the GPGPU performance to AMD APUs or even other ARM hardware.

If you want to see how your own CUDA-enabled Linux system compares to these benchmarks, simply install the Phoronix Test Suite and run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1511154-HA-CUDACOMPA60.
