MSI GeForce GT 1030: A $70 Passively-Cooled Graphics Card, Decent With OpenGL/Vulkan/OpenCL/VDPAU
Lastly are some VDPAU video decode benchmarks using qvdpautest on different NVIDIA GPUs.'
Unfortunately, qvdpautest hasn't been maintained in several years and a number of the tests are no longer too common for today's video decode use-cases... But we do see the GT 1030 Pascal video engine performing much better than Fermi, Kepler, and Maxwell.
And the GT 1030 does very well if calculating the performance-per-Watt during the video decode process.
The GeForce GT 1030 can handle 1080p MPEG decoding to not much surprise at all... Again, limited by the capabilities of qvdpautest or other VDPAU benchmarks.
