Next are a selection of OpenCL tests with a sub-set of the NVIDIA GPUs tested. The Radeon GPUs weren't tested with OpenCL due to the open-source ROCm stack not yet being supported on Ubuntu 17.04.

With just 384 CUDA cores, the GeForce GT 1030 doesn't offer too much in terms of compute potential...

But for some OpenCL workloads, the GeForce GT 1030 comes out ahead of older hardware like the GTX 460 Fermi, GTX 650/760 Kepler, and GTX 750 Maxwell.

With the GT 1030 only making use of PCI-E x4, its bus speed can be a problem.
