First up is a look at Serious Sam Fusion 2017, which really struggles with pre-Kepler hardware, but alas you can see a bit of how NVIDIA GPU performance has evolved. The Vulkan renderer wasn't tested with NVIDIA not supporting Vulkan on pre-Kepler GPUs.

Tomb Raider at 1080p on Linux with OpenGL can run almost a 30 FPS average with the once impressive GeForce 9800GTX. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is 9x faster than the 9800GTX in this Linux game.

The performance-per-Watt with Tomb Raider is also about a 9x improvement going from the GeForce 9800GTX to GTX 1080 Ti.
