NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 950 Is A $150+ Bargain For Linux Gamers

NVIDIA mentioned in their press materials that the GTX 950 is about three times faster than the GTX 650. In these OpenGL Linux tests, it's at least two times faster and for some about three times faster.

While the upgrade store is more compelling if you're on a GeForce GTX 650 or older, the GTX 950 even offers noticeably better performance than the GeForce GTX 750 series.

For Xonotic, surprisingly the Catalyst 15.7 driver on this system with the Radeon R7 370 is performing better than the GTX 950. The R9 290 on Catalyst was performing very well this time around.
