Mesa Git Yields Performance Improvements For Newer AMD GPUs

Furmark was found to be faster for the four tested Radeon GPUs using Mesa 10.5-devel Git over Mesa 10.3.0.

The simple triangle GpuTest case was also noticeably faster for the four AMD GPUs when using Mesa 10.5-devel compared to Mesa 10.3.0.

Overall, there's a good deal of performance improvements to find with Mesa 10.5-devel Git master compared to Mesa 10.3.0 stable. Many of these performance improvements will also be visible with the upcoming Mesa 10.4.0 stable release.

The only really strange situation with this testing was the Radeon R9 270X. The R9 270X was performing much better with Mesa 10.5-devel, but on other hardware/software combinations I don't recall this graphics card performing so poorly on the open-source driver stack. Whatever the case, at least it's better with Git.
