EXT4/Btrfs/XFS/F2FS Benchmarks On Linux 3.17

F2FS scored another victory with the Dbench test on Ubuntu 14.10.

Btrfs scored its first victory with CompileBench's compile test.

Ending out the testing, F2FS scored another victory followed by EXT4. With the initial create test it seemed that EXT4 and F2FS were slower on Linux 3.17 than Linux 3.16, but for both kernels and file-systems there was a higher than normal variation in the results.

Overall there wasn't much of a performance change with Linux 3.17 over Linux 3.16 for the EXT4, F2FS, XFS, and Btrfs file-systems. When it came to what file-system was the fastest on the Intel solid-state drive, F2FS had many wins along with EXT4.
