Setting Up A Better VR Space For SteamVR Linux Gaming

So far this setup has been working out well and is much more effective (and safer!) than just plopping an HTC Vive "play room" (as called by the documentation) into an unplanned area for VR gaming in a less-than-ideal space for safety reasons. This setup is also much more convenient with being able to hang all of the HTC Vive gear when it's unused as well as just making better use of this space; for those that missed that build from two years ago, see Turning A Basement Into A Big Linux Server Room and A One Year Redux On The Basement Computer Room For Benchmarking 50+ Systems Daily.

About the only matter still outstanding is better cable management, which I am still weighing my options for the most effective approach.

All in it was about $100 USD in parts for creating this desk/area for VR gaming, which isn't bad compared to prices for a conventional computer desk.

Now with this better VR testing space laid out, onwards to testing the latest SteamVR with Radeon/RADV as well as some GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Linux VR tests.
