With the ebizzy benchmark that tries to resemble web server performance, the higher-end systems were seeing drops in performance with Retpoline, particularly when the kernel was built with the patched compiler.

Fortunately, in timed code compilation tasks, Retpoline wasn't impacting build times.

Or in demanding ray-tracing tests, all is well.
