At 1080p with high image quality settings, the NVIDIA results appear to indicate that the game was CPU bound even when testing on this i7-5960X Haswell-E system... However, right away we see how sluggish the AMD Radeon Software (Catalyst) performance is on the same system... The expensive Radeon R9 Fury was much slower than all of the NVIDIA GPUs tested on Ubuntu.

When increasing to ultra image quality settings at 1080p, the NVIDIA results still seem to indicate the game was largely bound by the processor speed. The NVIDIA GPUs were putting out around sixty frames per second while the R9 Fury was at just twenty frames per second.
