Using none was of big benefit on the Corsair Force MP600 PCIe 4.0 SSD when running a MySQL/MariaDB server.

Similarly, avoiding Kyber / MQ-Deadline / BFQ really pays off on the speedy storage for the PostgreSQL database server.

For Apache Cassandra was a slight advantage to avoiding the I/O scheduler on the super fast storage.

The Kyber I/O scheduler is backed by the likes of Facebook and coincidentally for Facebook's RocksDB database software it had a pretty good showing with Kyber.
