Long story short, the Linux 5.4 kernel with its bulk moves functionality in the AMDGPU driver provides some minor performance gains for Radeon graphics cards.

Even in open-source games like Tesseract and Xonotic there are performance improvements to note for AMD Radeon on Linux 5.4.

These minor but frequent performance improvements are certainly welcome out of Linux 5.4 for enhancing the AMD Linux gaming experience and the new hardware support is also great for Navi 12/14 and Arcturus, among other AMDGPU enhancements to find with this next kernel release due out this weekend.
