First up was SQLite and aside from the F2FS performance increasing on Linux 4.2, the other file-systems were flat-lined. EXT4 was the fastest while Btrfs was the slowest.

When doing some random writes with FIO, XFS and F2FS were increasing slightly in speed under Linux 4.3.

The performance of XFS went up a little bit on Linux 4.3 for the first FS-Mark result.

Overall, there doesn't appear to be any dramatic performance changes on Linux 4.3 when testing with a single Serial ATA 3.0 SSD.
