In many tests, there are virtually no changes in moving from Linux 4.17 stable to Linux 4.18 Git...

But it didn't take long before seeing the Radeon RX Vega performance pulling back in both OpenGL and Vulkan games...

The RX Vega regression appears to be in scenarios where the GPU isn't fully-taxed, like at 1080p rather than 4K, a.k.a. possibly bouncing between power states or not jumping to its peak frequency.
