Linaro 12.12 Enhances ARM Linux Performance

For the HMMer and MAFFT molecular biology benchmarks, there were performance improvements going from Linaro 12.10 to Linaro 12.12 that now put its performance in line with Ubuntu 12.10. These improvements are likely the result of going from GCC 4.6 to GCC 4.7. Arch Linux remained much slower than Linaro/Ubuntu in comparison for this dual-core ARMv7 Cortex-A9 setup.

VP8 and x264 video encoding was also made faster on Linaro 12.12.
