F1 2017 at 1440p with high quality settings would like a GTX 1060 / RX 580 or better. The RX 580 is what's offering the best value currently.

An RX 580 with ultra high quality settings in this Vulkan-powered racer continued offering a playable experience. The minimum frame-rate on the RX 580 in this case was higher than the average frame-rate with the competing GeForce GTX 1060.

The RX 580 ~ GTX 1060 are also the cut-off for a good experience with Mad Max at 1440p. The Vega performance on Mad Max at 1440p was more competitive with NVIDIA than what we saw at 1080p.
