Motherboard Layout:

Jetway has designed this AMD-based ITX motherboard for HTPCs, retail/kiosk/POS installations, gaming, digital signage, and digital security/surveillance. This motherboard uses the AMD 785G Chipset and is compatible with AM2/AM3 processors that have a TDP of 65 Watts or less. This motherboard has a lone DDR2 SO-DIMM memory slot that is compatible with DDR2-533/667/800MHz notebook memory. Next to the DDR2 SO-DIMM memory slot is the 20-pin ATX power connector.

Moving lower on the motherboard is the four Serial ATA 2.0 ports that are provided by the 785G + SB750 and supports RAID 0/1/5/10 configurations. Two three-pin fan connectors, two USB 2.0 headers, and the front panel header are also positioned near the Serial ATA ports. Cooled by the aluminum heatsink next to the lone PCI slot is the AMD 785G Chipset and its SB750 Southbridge.

The AMD CPU socket supports select Phenom, Athlon 64 FX, Athlon 64 X2, Athlon 64, and Sempron processors from the 2.0GHz Athlon 64 2000+ to the 2.5GHz quad-core Phenom II X4 90Xe. There is a second heatsink next to the CPU socket to cool some of the power circuitry and next to that is the 4-pin ATX 12V power connector.

The real I/O panel ports include HDMI 1.3, VGA, DVI-D, two eSATA ports, six USB 2.0 ports, one PS/2 port, one Gigabit Ethernet, and three audio jacks. It is wonderful to see HDMI / VGA / DVI-D all on this motherboard, compared to some of Jetway's other mini ITX solutions that have been limited to a lone VGA analog connection. It is also nice to see the presence of eSATA.
