The results become more interesting when looking at some of the 2D benchmarks. The first of those is using JXRenderMark, which stresses the X Render extension.

Most of the JXRenderMark tests were several times faster with SNA enabled, but there were a few regressions. When SNA was enabled, the performance also tended to deviate more than when using the old back-end.
