The Smallpt illumination renderer also has a great showing for the Core i7 4960X.

FFmpeg video encoding does very well for the Core i7 4960X but does not run quite as well as the Haswell Core i7 4770K due to the multimedia encoder being able to take advantage of Haswell's newer instruction set extensions. This is also a similar situation for OpenSSL.

Lastly for PolyBench-C, the polyhedral benchmark suite out of Ohio State University runs very well on the Core i7 4960X when compared against the five other processors being tested today (the Haswell i7-4770K and FX-8350 CPUs failed to properly run PolyBench with its current release version).
