Intel Core i3 530 Clarkdale On Linux
The x264 test profile is an interesting benchmark and with the Core i3 530 it really shined in comparison to the other Intel and AMD processors tested.
With FFmpeg the Clarkdale was fractionally faster than the Wolfdale.
AMD processors really shine quite well with OpenSSL and even the latest Intel Core i3 530 is still not able to outdo the Phenom II X3 710 with RSA 4096-bit signing.
The Core 2 Duo E8400 with its elevated frequencies were a win over the Core i3 530.
