At another disk test, IOzone, Fedora 10 was once again the slowest competitor. Fedora 10 had fallen noticeably behind Ubuntu, Mandriva, and OpenSuSE. Mandriva 2009.0 had won in both the 512MB write and 1GB write tests.

At the SQLite benchmark, Ubuntu was the fastest and then Fedora and Mandriva following slightly behind. Rather oddly, OpenSuSE 11 was nearly five times slower than Ubuntu 8.10 at performing the 12,500 insertions. Also, keep in mind that the Phoronix Test Suite does run tests multiple times for accuracy.
