For Dota 2 at 1080p, only the Iris Pro Graphics on the i7-5775C were delivering about 30 FPS.

Team Fortress 2 is much easier on the Intel and AMD APU graphics... Still, only with Iris Pro Graphics would I really be comfortable running these lighter Linux OpenGL games with playable speeds.

Here is the ET:Legacy game remaking Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It's light enough to still run on Ivy Bridge era hardware. The A10-7850K Kaveri was coming in around the speed of the i7-4770K Haswell with HD Graphics 4600 when both were using Linux 4.10 / Mesa 13.1-dev. The i7-4790K was running much better and even ahead of the i5-6500 Skylake graphics. The Core i7 5775C was the fastest by far as expected thanks to this socketed processor having Intel Iris Pro Graphics.

It will be interesting to see how the HD Graphics on the Kaby Lake CPUs compare in just a few days.

Unfortunately I don't have any Skylake Core i7 models for comparison.
