Intel Iris Pro 6200 Graphics Are A Dream Come True For Open-Source Linux Fans

These initial results of the Intel Iris Pro 6200 Graphics under Linux speak for themselves. The results are very impressive when looking at them alone but is even more of a message when considering it's running on a fully-open Linux graphics driver. The open-source OpenCL support offered by Beignet is also superior to what's available for the open Radeon and Nouveau drivers. The Broadwell CPU is running great under Fedora 22 as more of the results will show in the next article while the Iris 6200 Pro graphics with the modern Linux kernel and Mesa blow the mid-range discrete graphics cards out of the water. In another article I'll show the performance-per-Watt of the Broadwell GT3e graphics, which obviously is quite compelling on the Core i7 5775C.
