The full-screen BioShock Infinite results were largely uninteresting except for the GNOME Shell Wayland performance out-of-the-box to still be much lower than GNOME Shell on X.Org or in other desktop environments atop X.Org.

With Dota 2 meanwhile there is no measurable change in performance between the tested environments.

Dota 2 with Vulkan also wasn't affected when changing out the desktop environment or GNOME Shell for its Wayland session. The Intel Vulkan performance in this game continues to slightly trail its OpenGL performance.

ET: Legacy saw slightly lower performance with GNOME Shell on Wayland and Xfce but no really meaningful difference and the game would be playable still with ease for the UHD Graphics.
