Right out of the gates with the FS-Mark test profile, Clear Linux was much faster than the eight other Linux distributions. Though it is worth pointing out that Debian 9.4 had surprisingly good performance compared to the other distributions with the newer kernels, but Clear's performance tuning did pay off in this first I/O test with around a 25% boost over the other Linux distributions.

With the basic OpenGL tests carried out on the UHD Graphics 630 of the i7-8086K, there isn't much to show except Fedora Workstation 28 with its Wayland-based GNOME Shell desktop session tended to be noticeably slower than the other Linux distributions under test. With these OpenGL tests on the current drivers, Clear Linux wasn't able to squeeze any extra frames out of the UHD Graphics.
