Himeno is running the same speed with GCC 6 and 7, which is much faster than GCC 5 and older.

A minor boost appears for 7-zip with GCC7.

Compiling ImageMagick was faster with GCC 7 than GCC 6, but still slower than GCC 5.

Building the Linux kernel was a few seconds slower with GCC 7 over GCC 6.

The PHP timed compilation was about the same.
