While Fedora 32 has PHP 7.4, the PHPbench performance numbers were flat from Fedora 31 to Fedora 32.

Fedora 31 with updates had Firefox 75 just like Fedora 32. The Firefox 75 performance was flat on Fedora while Fedora 31 in its original state with Firefox 69 was often delivering better performance.

The kernel on Fedora 32 was booting quicker but the overall boot time on Fedora 32 was longer than on Fedora 31 for this Intel Core i9 system.

Overall, Fedora 32 was slightly faster than Fedora 31 if taking the geometric mean of all the data points but in areas like Fortran (thanks GCC 10) and Python (thanks Python 3.8) there were some notable gains with Fedora 32 among other areas. More Fedora 32 benchmarks will come following the official release, which will hopefully take place next week.
