The Radeon RX Vega 64 by far had the highest power consumption with the AC system power consumption on average coming in at 307 Watts and a peak of 346 Watts. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti meanwhile had an average power draw of 241 Watts with a peak of 258 Watts.

When looking at the performance-per-Watt, the GeForce GTX 1070 series comes out in front along with the GTX 1080/1060 Pascal cards... Vega offers the best GPU cryptocurrency mining performance but has a difficult time competing with NVIDIA's current-generation Pascal cards in power efficiency. It will be interesting to see how Navi and Volta compare next year.

Lastly is also a look at the GPU temperatures of each of the cards during the Ethereum Ethminer benchmarking process. Obviously keep in mind depending upon the AIB model of the graphics card you pursue and your cooling conditions, you may find sharply different results.
