With the PostMark disk benchmark, Fedora really lagged behind OpenSuSE, Ubuntu, and Mandriva. With these low disk results, it may also explain why the Apache performance was so bad earlier on with our results. Ubuntu had surpassed OpenSuSE by a small lead with the number of transactions per second, while Mandriva was a ways back.

Mandriva took a first place finish when it came to the Dbench performance where it had outperformed OpenSuSE, Ubuntu, and Fedora by many times. Though worth noting is that Mandriva was using the older EXT3 file-system while the others were using the newer EXT4. Between OpenSuSE, Ubuntu, and Fedora, Ubuntu was the fastest while Fedora was the slowest.

OpenSuSE was marginally faster than Ubuntu at the OpenMP-based GraphicsMagick. Mandriva was a ways behind Ubuntu and OpenSuSE.
