GROMACS really enjoyed DDR5 memory with Intel Alder Lake.

Hopefully this quick round of DDR4 vs. DDR5 memory testing on Linux proved useful for those weighing which route to go across a variety of real-world workloads...

DDR5 memory can offer some performance benefits even at DDR5-4400 but at the moment you will have a tough time finding availability at close to decent pricing. But the Intel Core i5 12600K was performing very well even with DDR4 system memory as shown by this quick round of tests.
