For the open-source DDraceNetwork cooperative platformer game, the average FPS was similar as were the average frame times but Crocus did have the advantage of tending to have a lower peak frame time than the i965 classic driver. Though in some of the more demanding cases, the average FPS of Crocus did end up coming in slightly lower than i965.

With the aging OpenArena ioquake3-based game, the overall performance was similar but again Crocus on Sandy Bridge leading to lower peak frame times compared to the default i965 driver.

The classic i965 driver had a slight advantage with the open-source Xonotic game for this Core i7 2700K system.
