The C-Ray test is always a favorite and is generally quite an interesting multi-threaded ray-tracing engine. The dual-core CompuLab Trim-Slice was noticeably faster than the PandaBoard ES with Ubuntu 11.10 and nearly at the same speed of the Pentium M 1.86GHz Intel CPU -- of course that also makes it faster than the two Atom processors being compared.

The OpenMP efficiency though for this NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform was very poor.

The 7-Zip compression benchmark is another always-interesting test.
