Running multiple copies of the SQLite database library was much faster on EXT4 over F2FS with the NVMe SSD storage.

EXT4 delivered about 8% higher IOPS for 4K random reads via IO_uring with FIO.

Or when moving to buffered indirect 4K random writes, F2FS was about 5% faster than EXT4.

Random write performance was also performing slightly better with F2FS over EXT4.

F2FS did also perform slightly better for sequential reads.
