Even in fairly straight-forward OpenMP scientific workloads, Clear Linux across all of the systems is able to shave off some time compared to Ubuntu 17.10. Funny enough, in this particular short test, the Threadripper 1950X configuration was the fastest.

Even on AMD hardware, in some configurations Clear Linux can make a positively huge difference.
